Dan
Ruettimann started shooting in Kansas City while he was still a journalism
student at the University of Kansas. He quickly gained a reputation
for excellent client service and imaginative problem solving while working
with clients such as the NCAA, Southwestern Bell and the Kansas City
Chiefs.
An
early adopter of the digital darkroom and later as an expert in digital
image capture, Dan has set the standard for seamless digital workflow
for clients like Sprint and Lee Jeans. He is also recognized for his
outstanding work in virtual object and scene creation. His work has
appeared in countless catalogs, websites and periodicals.
In
addition to working with commercial clients, Dan has added portrait
services on a limited basis. "I started getting a lot of requests
for portrait work, and I didn't want to do the standard 'portraity'
pictures you see most of the time. My goal is to give my clients something
unique, that they haven't seen before."
Dan
lives in Shawnee, Kansas with his wife, Susan and dog, Smudge.
